20 Days of WoW Blogging Challenge: People I Admire

Growing up I had very few notable people that I admired. They were mostly athletic figures that I dreamed of being like and emulated my practice and play style according to theirs. Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Hakeem Olajuwon and Michael Jordan. I remember watching all three of these athletes growing up and being completely in awe about how fluid and graceful they were. I also went through some really weird phase in high school where I was OBSESSED with Shaquille O’Neal and secretly owned his CDs and movies. *cough* As an adult, I can’t think of any people that I wanna grow up to be like, which probably comes off weird, but it is what it is.

In the Warcraft blogging scene, I really dig Heal over time. Ms. Peanut’s blog deals with a lot of issues that I’ve faced in playing WoW and breaking away from a semi-addiction instead of using the game to cope. Plus, she’s amazingly vulnerable which I’m working on myself. Guarded by the Light’s, Miri is also someone that I secretly enjoy because she’s so freakin’ raw and hilarious and probably doesn’t realize it. But whether she’s talking about her tanking adventures or shaking her fist about dealing with her job, she’s cracking me the funk up. Lastly, Ms. Applecidermage. Number one, she’s a mage. Number two, she shares some of the same sentiments in game and out that I have. And number three, she’s just really freakin’ cool!

That’s all I got because this is incredibly awkward because I could say a lot about everyone I’ve mentioned here and I can’t really find the words.
